Jake Paul’s true feelings about Gervonta Davis cancellation laid bare in new TikTok post

Jake Paul showed off the severity of his disappointment this morning in a new TikTok video from home.

The controversial boxer was due to face Gervonta Davis tonight on Netflix in Miami. However, last week the fight was cancelled following an investigation into recent allegations made against ‘Tank’ in a civil lawsuit.

Now Paul is eyeing a bout with Anthony Joshua, although the fight seems highly unlikely to happen within December as he had initially planned. And in this new TikTok, he can clearly be seen to still be upset about the ‘Tank’ cancellation.

While the Paul vs Tank fight was called off last week, the event is still being advertised on certain parts of the Netflix package. And in a new video posted today by Jake Paul, his friends try to taunt him with a reminder of where he should be.

It is clear how disappointed the social media star is as he asks his pals “Seriously” before demanding that they “turn that s— off”. When the ad loads again, he gets even more angry and demands it be switched off.

He has remained in camp for a potential December fight date, but it seems to be unlikely that he will land a bout next month. Talks have been held with the likes of Nate Diaz and Andre Ward, with latest reports indicating a clash with Anthony Joshua, the two-time heavyweight champion.

Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua looking unlikely for December date

While The Ring Magazine continue to report that Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua is a ‘done deal’ for December 19, that seems increasingly unlikely. Paul himself has commented on not the Joshua fight in particular, but the idea of competing within this year.

“Not holding my breath for 2025,” Paul tweeted on Thursday – seemingly about his boxing future – before guaranteeing that he would be appearing at an F1 event next week. “Too many yes men. F1 next weekend is for sure.”
