The one that got away! Tiger Woods in deep conversation with ex-wife as they watch son Charlie take home trophy at golf tourney
Tiger Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren were pictured chatting together on Saturday as they supported son Charlie as he helped his high school win a major golf event.
The 16-year-old prodigy shot the joint-lowest round of day two as he powered his Benjamin School to another state championship.
The youngster clearly showed no sign of buckling under the pressure of having his iconic dad walking around the course with him at the Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the Hills.
Woods seemed to moving okay and looked relaxed after the 15-time major champion had lumbar disk replacement surgery on October 10.
Charlie shot a four-under par 68 on Saturday to help Benjamin cruise to a five-shot victory in the two-day event. They won the same tournament two years ago when Charlie was a freshman.
Woods’ presence explains why he was not with girlfriend Vanessa Trump to watch her daughter Kai compete in her first pro tournament this week.
Kai improved her score by eight strokes on Friday in the second round of The Annika but still missed the cut following a 13-over 83 with a 75.
But president Donald Trump’s granddaughter still finished last in the 108-player field at Pelican Golf Club, six strokes behind the nearest competitor.
Vanessa was there to support her during the tournament, just as Nordegren was on hand to cheer on Charlie with Woods.
Woods first met Swedish model Nordegren in 2001, before proposing two years later. The couple then made it official at a lavish wedding in 2004.
They welcomed daughter Sam in 2007 and son Charlie in 2009, a year prior to the infamous sex scandal that brought their marriage crashing down in shocking fashion.
Elin divorced Tiger in 2010 after six years of marriage when she discovered the golfing great was cheating on her during Thanksgiving week with a woman named Rachel Uchitel.
Two days later, a car crash outside his own Florida mansion would unearth the truth.
In the aftermath of the crash, Woods was found by police asleep in the road without shoes and socks on after Nordegren tried to smash her way into the car with a golf club.
Elin’s worst fears were then confirmed after she spotted a text on Woods’ phone while he lay unconscious, dosed up on sleeping pills.
What followed was one of the most dramatic collapses of a star’s reputation across sport as a number of other women later came forward to claim they’d been intimate with him.
Among the other women that came forward was porn star Holly Sampson, who confirmed she had been ‘intimate’ with the Nike athlete after previously claiming she ‘f****d Tiger Woods’.
Not only did the scandal cost Tiger his marriage, but he also lost numerous lucrative sponsorship deals – even though Nike stood by him – and he went to rehab for sex addiction during a break from playing golf.
Serena Williams confesses that she has overcome a difficult health issue that forced her to put everything on hold
Serena Williams has never been shy about embracing new challenges, even after stepping away from professional tennis. Last year she told fans she wanted to test herself in a different arena.
But the competitive fire that carried her through more than two decades of dominance has also come with something she knows all too well: injury setbacks. And on Thursday, Williams revealed that her marathon journey has hit a familiar snag.
“So, I don’t know what’s happened to me lately. I’ve been so lazy, and I was training earlier this year for a half-marathon, and it didn’t go so well. I mean, it was going good, then I got injured. I sustained an injury in my leg,” she told her followers on Instagram.
Her tone was light, but the situation struck a chord with longtime fans who remember the defining battles she fought with her body during her career.
Few athletes have endured and overcome as many physical challenges as Williams. In 2010 she suffered one of her most serious injuries after stepping on broken glass, damaging tendons in her foot and undergoing two surgeries.
The ordeal sidelined her for nearly a year. Another moment etched in memory came at Wimbledon in 2021, when she was forced to leave the court in tears after a hamstring injury abruptly ended her match. Many observers believed that moment was the beginning of her final steps as a professional player.
Returning to training with an ambitious deadline ahead
This latest setback may not be as dramatic, but Williams made it clear that returning to form has not been simple.
“That was four months ago, maybe five, and I haven’t really done cardio since,” she admitted. Still, she has not abandoned the goal. “So, I’m back at it. The half-marathon I wanted to do is in February; I think I can still make it. I just got to get serious. The only thing I’m really good at, like, focus on is tennis.”
It was a moment of honesty that landed somewhere between frustration and self-awareness. Fans who watched her fight through pain, pregnancy, and pressure across twenty years of professional tennis know her discipline is unmatched.
She won the 2017 Australian Open while pregnant, trained relentlessly through career defining injuries, and transformed her body throughout a major post-career weight loss journey. Few athletes in history embody resilience the way Williams does.
Charlie Woods May Not Follow Sister Sam Woods to Stanford as Top Florida College Shows Interest
Charlie Woods has been making a lot of moves this year. He picked up his first AJGA tournament win in May, and recently led Benjamin High School to a Florida state championship win with a team-best 68.
The teenage phenom is firmly planted among the nation’s top junior golfers, ranked No. 9 in the latest AJGA standings. But what comes next for him is still in question. Will he follow his father’s and sister’s footsteps? Maybe not.
Tiger Woods went to Stanford. In 1995, he was named Stanford’s Male Freshman of the Year, and has been an All-American player from 1994-96. And Charlie’s sister, Sam Woods, is currently studying there after putting an early end to her soccer career. But Charlie Woods is most likely not going to take the same path.
A recent update has come to light that he may be looking at Florida State University.
His potential interest in Florida State was on display last weekend at the Florida Class 1A State Championship in Howey-in-the-Hills. Seminoles coach Trey Jones was spotted talking with Tiger Woods while watching Charlie fire a team-best 68 in the final round at Mission Resort + Club’s El Campeon course.
FSU is no stranger to top-tier golf, having finished as national runner-up in 2024 and recently landing AJGA No. 1 Miles Russell as their latest signee. Securing Charlie Woods would instantly strengthen their 2027 recruiting class and position them as strong rivals to the University of Florida, which also boasts a loaded AJGA Top 10 lineup.
The rivals Florida Gators’ 2027 graduating class consists of Giuseppe Puebla and Jessy Huebner, who are currently ranked 2nd & 4th on the AJGA rankings, respectively. Surprisingly, Charlie is currently the only player in the top 10 rankings of the AJGA who still hasn’t committed to a college.
Harbeck even added that they want “Charlie to be Charlie,” and carve his own path. “We don’t want Charlie to be Tiger,” he noted, suggesting that going down the Stanford route might just take away his identity. Of course, he has the same mannerisms as his father, but when it comes to college, Charlie Woods might just be charting a fresh course, even if it means passing on the family legacy.
Though the mystery of Charlie Woods taking the Stanford path still looms, it is to be noted that back in 2023, he had already been clear about his stance on joining Stanford. Toby Harbeck revealed that the 16-year-old had said “no” to that route as he was drawn to schools in the Southeast.
With college plans still an anomaly, all eyes are now on Charlie’s next challenge, where he’ll tee off next and continue proving himself against the nation’s best junior golfers.
Where will Charlie Woods be playing next?
While Charlie’s collegiate future remains a mystery, the high school phenom is keeping busy on the competitive front. He is gearing up for the Rolex Tournament of Champions, set to take place from November 22–26, 2025, at the TPC San Antonio, Canyons Course.
Charlie Woods has shown a knack for shining in high-pressure events, from his first AJGA tournament win in May to leading Benjamin High to a state championship just recently. He shot a stellar 68 in the final round to lead his team to a dramatic comeback victory and secured his school’s second state title in three years.
Looking further ahead, Charlie is also expected to tee it up at the 2025 PNC Championship from December 18–21 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes. But this is all based on whether Tiger Woods can compete. Last year, the father-son duo came heartbreakingly close, losing in a playoff, and the duo’s return would be a storybook reunion that fans have been anticipating.
Tiger Woods’ participation this year remains uncertain, however. The 82-time PGA Tour winner underwent his seventh back surgery in October, a lumbar disc replacement at the L4/L5 level. Given these setbacks and his long-awaited comeback, the golfing world is eager to see if we will get to see them play the PNC Championship this year.
Tennis legend’s Super Bowl appearance and Drake’s Instagram activity reignite speculation about their complicated relationship history
Tennis star’s Super Bowl cameo sparks speculation
Serena Williams made a surprise appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s electrifying Super Bowl halftime performance in February, stepping onto the stage during his hit song Not Like Us. The tennis legend’s brief moment crip-walking during the 12-minute show sent fans into a frenzy, but her participation may have carried deeper meaning than simple entertainment value.
The timing and context of Williams’ cameo caught particular attention because Not Like Us serves as a pointed diss track aimed squarely at Drake. The song has achieved massive success, accumulating over a billion streams and winning five Grammy awards, while simultaneously creating serious legal complications for those involved.
Drake recently filed a lawsuit against his own label, Universal Music Group, over lyrics in the track that label him with extremely serious accusations. UMG also represents Lamar, creating an unusual situation where the label finds itself caught between two of its major artists. The legal action underscores just how seriously Drake takes the ongoing rivalry.
Williams and Drake first became linked in 2011 when romance rumors began circulating in entertainment circles. The speculation intensified significantly in 2015 as the pair were frequently photographed together at various events and social gatherings.
Neither party ever publicly confirmed they were dating, leaving fans and media to piece together the nature of their relationship through circumstantial evidence and social media activity. The ambiguity surrounding their connection only fueled more intense speculation about what actually transpired between them.
Things took a decidedly awkward turn when Drake began referencing Williams in his music. His 2016 track Too Good contains lyrics that many interpreted as being about unrequited feelings. Drake later confirmed in an interview that the song referenced Williams, suggesting she may have rejected his romantic advances.
Drake’s continued musical references
The rapper didn’t stop with one song. In 2022, Drake released Middle of the Ocean, which contained explicit references to Williams and her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The lyrics took direct aim at Ohanian, calling him names and suggesting tension between the two men.
Ohanian responded publicly on social media with a measured but firm statement. He emphasized his dedication to being supportive of his wife and daughter, turning Drake’s intended insult into an expression of pride about his family priorities. The response earned widespread praise for its maturity and positive framing.
Williams herself addressed the speculation in an April interview with Time magazine. She firmly denied that her Super Bowl appearance was intended as mockery toward Drake, calling such interpretations sad. The tennis champion said she could understand why people might think that way but insisted the reality was different.
She emphasized maintaining respect for Drake despite their complicated history, noting they had known each other for many years. Williams portrayed their relationship as cordial rather than contentious, attempting to downplay any suggestion of ongoing animosity between them.
Nine months after Williams’ Time interview attempting to smooth over any perceived tension, new developments suggested the relationship remains far from repaired. On Nov. 19, observant fans noticed Drake publicly liked an Instagram comment that took a shot at Williams.
The rapper had posted several photos from a tennis-themed photoshoot with fellow artist Sexyy Red. He captioned the images with a playful reference to tennis lessons and jewelry. However, the comment section became the real story when Drake engaged with remarks comparing the situation to Williams.
One commenter wrote that the photoshoot represented a Serena Williams upgrade, adding fire emojis for emphasis. Drake’s decision to like this specific comment didn’t go unnoticed by his millions of followers, who quickly screenshot and shared the interaction across social media platforms.
Fans immediately called out the move as messy and petty, questioning why Drake would publicly endorse a comment disparaging Williams. The action seemed to contradict Williams’ earlier statements about their relationship being respectful and free of negative feelings.
The Instagram like generated substantial discussion across social media platforms as users debated Drake’s motivations and the state of his relationship with Williams. Many characterized the action as unnecessarily petty, particularly given Williams’ attempts to downplay any feud earlier in the year.
Others defended Drake, suggesting he was simply engaging with his fans and may not have intended the like as a serious statement about Williams. Some pointed out that celebrities often like comments without fully considering how their actions might be interpreted by millions of observers.
The incident highlighted the challenges public figures face navigating social media interactions, where even simple gestures like liking a comment can spark widespread speculation and controversy. Drake’s Instagram activity remains closely monitored by fans eager to decode any hints about his relationships and rivalries.
Context of ongoing Drake tensions
Drake’s apparent willingness to engage with negative comments about Williams fits into a broader pattern of the rapper finding himself embroiled in various public disputes. His legal action against Universal Music Group over Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics represents just one front in what appears to be an increasingly complicated public image situation.
The lawsuit itself has raised eyebrows throughout the music industry, with some questioning the wisdom of suing his own label. The legal strategy puts Universal Music Group in an extremely awkward position, potentially damaging relationships that typically benefit both artist and label.
Meanwhile, Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance cemented Not Like Us as a cultural phenomenon beyond just hip hop circles. Having Williams appear during that specific song amplified the moment’s impact, whether or not she intended any message toward Drake.
Williams maintains focus on tennis legacy
Throughout the various Drake-related controversies, Williams has largely maintained her focus on tennis legacy matters and business ventures. The retired champion continues building her brand and spending time with her family, seemingly unbothered by ongoing speculation about past relationships.
Her appearance at the Super Bowl represented a celebration of hip hop culture and support for Lamar’s historic performance rather than any calculated statement about Drake. However, the interpretation of her cameo remains subject to individual perspective and the complicated history between all parties involved.
The situation demonstrates how past relationships and unresolved tensions can continue generating headlines years after the original connections faded, particularly when all parties involved maintain high public profiles across entertainment and sports.
Serena Williams Serves Power and Drama in a Daring Black Lace Ensemble
Serena Williams turned heads on Thursday, November 20, after posting a striking new set of photos to Instagram, showing off her bold fashion sense and confident energy.
The tennis legend and entrepreneur, 44, posed against a black-and-white striped wall while dressed in a sheer black lace dress paired with a structured black blazer draped over her shoulders.
The daring ensemble highlighted her sculpted figure and sophisticated taste, while the contrasting patterns of the backdrop made the look pop even more. She completed the outfit with pointed black heels and voluminous golden curls that framed her face in soft waves.
In the carousel, Williams struck a mix of poised and playful poses — one showed her flashing a bright smile, another with her head tilted back and hand rested on her neck, exuding power and glamour. A close-up shot revealed her sultry makeup look with glossy lips and smoky eyes, as a phone camera captured her mid-pose.
Her caption, “Lace me up and lead the way ♠️,” perfectly tied into the theme, adding a cheeky nod to the lace fabric of her dress.
Williams, who retired from professional tennis in 2022, has since focused on her business empire, including her fashion brand S by Serena and multiple investment ventures.
This latest post served as a reminder that the 23-time Grand Slam champion still knows how to command attention both on and off the court.
Tiger Woods’ good friend Notah Begay III says the 15-time major champion is still very much eyeing up a record-breaking 83rd PGA Tour victory.
Woods, 49, has not played in a professional golf event since the 2024 Open Championship at Royal Troon.
He missed all four major championships this year after rupturing his left achilles tendon in March and his comeback was delayed even further with his seventh back procedure of the past decade.
Woods had disc replacement surgery in September after experiencing pain and discomfort in his lower back.
He has not revealed if and when he will attempt to return to competitive action.
Woods turns 50 next month and there is hope among his fans that he will jump in a golf cart and tee it up on the senior US circuit where the events are played over 54 holes.
The senior majors are played over the traditional 72.
His good friend, Begay III, told the most recent edition of the Straight Facts Homie podcast that he still believes Woods harbours a deep desire to win again and overtake Sam Snead.
Both Woods and Snead have won 82 official PGA Tour events during their careers.
“I never take anything away from the guy,” Begay III said. “I think in his heart of hearts, 83 is a big number. It’s an important number.
“And I think there’s a couple venues that I think could accommodate his current physical condition.
“I think the biggest problem, in the conversations that I’ve had with him, is the walking. That’s it.
“He hits it great, he’s in tremendous physical condition. His ball speeds are fast enough, they’re 175-180 which is adequate for the PGA Tour.”
Begay III said there is a possibility that if Woods returns then he will attempt to play in the RBC Heritage or the Charles Schwab Challenge as Hilton Head and Colonial have flatter terrain that is easier on his back.
“And those are venues that he’s never typically played at,” he said. “He’s played Colonial once and never went back. And I don’t think he’s ever been to Hilton Head.
“Those are two things that you may see at some point.”
At one stage in his hall of fame career, Woods no doubt believed that he would leapfrog Jack Nicklaus with the most major championship victories.
His former caddie Steve Williams previously revealed Woods was obsessed with breaking the record and the original target was 20, until they changed it to 21 because it was the looper’s favourite number.
Nicklaus won 18 major championships and also finished runner-up on 19 occasions.
Begay III said achieving 83 PGA Tour titles is the “more tangible” goal at this stage.
“I think because the majors, there’s only four of them, and Augusta’s one of the top three hilliest courses players walk all year,” he said.
“Maybe The Open Championship where distance is less of a consideration when you look at guys like Francesco Molinari, Brian Harman – not high ball or long ball hitters that have both walked away there with the Claret Jug.
“In one of the best shotmakers in the world in Tiger Woods, that might be the best fit that he would be looking for in terms of winning another major.
“The cherry on top would be if it was another major and it would be 83.
“He still wouldn’t get to 18, I think that’s out of reach, but I still do think, in a perfect world, Ben Hogan did it on one leg, maybe Tiger can do it too.”
Serena Williams Opens Up About Her Down-to-Earth Friendship With Duchess Meghan
The world may have been shocked when American tennis legend Serena Williams showed up to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s royal wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018, but they shouldn’t have been, as the women have been close friends for 15 years.
Meghan and Williams first met at Super Bowl XLIV when the New Orleans Saints faced off against the Indianapolis Colts in 2010. It was held in Miami Gardens, Florida. At the time, Meghan was in a serious relationship with film producer Trevor Engelson, whom she began dating in 2004 and married in 2011. (The two divorced in 2013, three years before Meghan met Harry.)
In Meghan’s December cover story for Harper’s Bazaar, Williams recalls her instant connection with the now-duchess. “We both definitely have a dry sense of humor. I think that’s why we hit it off for no reason at this silly football thing. We were just like, ‘Why are we here? To meet you?’ Apparently, and we’ve been lifelong friends ever since,” she says.
Since then, their friendship has only deepened, as they have both navigated being entrepreneurs, mothers, and media targets—separately, but together.
“We love a good mimosa,” Williams says. “We could talk for a hundred hours, and it feels like 10 minutes go by, and it’s like we never stop smiling.”
Meghan says their friendship is easy: “I don’t like things that feel overly realized. If you overwork the dough, it’s not going to rise. And sometimes I think the stress that people put on moments … they are so consumed in them that you lose the fun of why you are doing something.”
And Williams says Meghan helps her be a better mother: “She’s just so smart, and I feel like no matter what, I can always learn from her.” She adds that the last time the two hung out, Meghan “was talking about this amazing woman who is really helpful and how to talk to kids. I’m implementing so much that she’s teaching me.”
Charlie Woods in hot demand over college golf career: Who’s in the race?
A wave of interest is unsurprisingly building around Charlie Woods, and according to those closest to him, conversations have already begun. Multiple college coaches and top programs are understood to be in talks with Tiger Woods’ son as they position themselves for one of the most coveted commitments in junior golf.
Charlie might be keeping his cards close to his chest over his next move, but the scramble to recruit him is very much underway—especially after what he has achieved in 2025.
At just 16 years old, the son of a certain 15-time major champion has become the most talked-about uncommitted talent in the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) Top 10.
Charlie’s breakout 2025 season, the strongest of his career to date, has turned quiet college golf enquiries into serious interest.
Charlie Woods in hot demand over college career
With his first AJGA win at the Team TaylorMade Invitational in March, a stunning ace at TPC Sawgrass during the Junior Players Championship over the summer, and leading Benjamin School to state championship victory last week, Charlie’s profile has soared.
The AJGA underscored his rapid ascent by naming him to its first-team All-American list, the same honour Tiger earned more than three decades ago.
Now ranked ninth in the AJGA standingsheading into 2026, Charlie stands as the only top-10 junior still undecided over their college choice—a status that has made his recruitment one of the most intriguing plotlines in the sport.
Benjamin School head coach Toby Harbeck last week confirmed the growing interest, telling The Palm Beach Post that Charlie has been “very mum-mum” about his preferences despite plenty of coaches actively pursuing him.
“There’s a lot of people that want him,” Harbeck told the publication. “It’s just where he feels most comfortable. He’s visited a couple schools. We’ll see.”
Florida State leading race
One school that appears to be stepping forward is Florida State.
According to The Palm Beach Post, Florida State head coach Trey Jones was spotted speaking with Tiger Woods moments before Charlie posted a superb team-leading final-round 68 at the Florida Class 1A State Championship.
The Seminoles—2024 national runners-up—already have a commitment from rising superstar and AJGA No. 1 Miles Russell, so landing Charlie would complete a blockbuster 2027 recruiting class.
Meanwhile, the Florida Gators (University of Florida) have made early moves of their own, securing AJGA Top 10 prospects Giuseppe Puebla (No.2) and Jessy Huebner (No.4). The Gators already have Ian Poulter’s son Luke Poulter, who made the GB&I Walker Cup team this season.
Adding Charlie to either side of the Florida rivalry would therefore dramatically tilt the recruiting landscape in the state.

Then there’s Stanford—the most sentimental option of all.
The Cardinal remain closely tied to the Woods family thanks to Tiger’s legendary collegiate career and Charlie’s sister Samantha currently studying there.
During his two seasons at Stanford (1994–1996), Tiger Woods set numerous records, including a school record of 11 tournament wins, a career stroke average of 70.96, and a dominant performance that led to him winning the 1996 NCAA Championship.
He was also named the Pac-10 Player of the Year twice, earned First-Team All-American honors, and won the Ben Hogan and Haskins Awards in 1996.
Stanford’s academic prestige and golfing pedigree make them a perennial contender for Charlie.
An outside contender for his signature could be the University of Miami, especially with Kai Trump, 18, heading up their college team in 2026.
Charlie’s father Tiger confirmed he is dating Kai’s mother Vanessa Trump earlier this season.
Kai, who also attends Benjamin School, made her LPGA debut last week at The Annika after receiving a sponsor exemption from golf legend Annika Sorenstam.
She received advice from Tiger before the tournament.
Kai went on to finish last but performed admirably given the circumstances, especially with a brilliant second-round 75 that included four birdies.
Big decision ahead for Charlie
For now, Charlie’s college choice remains unknown, but what is clear is the groundwork being laid behind closed doors.
College coaches are circling, conversations are happening, visits are underway, and as Charlie’s performances continue to elevate, the urgency among top programs is growing.
The American’s rapid rise on the state and national stage mirrors his increasingly crowded recruitment picture.
After a season that has shifted him from emerging talent to headline attraction, the next six months will see the battle for Charlie’s commitment intensify.
Charlie Woods just made his first ever hole-in-one!!
Charlie’s college choice will be one of the most defining storylines in junior golf next season, and whichever programme ultimately secures him will gain not only a premier recruit, but a player on a trajectory that continues to steepen with every round.
Drake reignites Serena Williams feud with pointed dig during raunchy photoshoot with Sexyy Red
Drake has seemingly reignited his long-running feud with ex-girlfriend Serena Williams after making a pointed dig at the tennis star on his Instagram.
On Monday, the Canadian rapper – who previously dated Williams from 2011 to 2015 – took to the social media platform to share a picture alongside fellow artist ‘Sexyy Red’.
The duo posed for a series of tennis-themed photos, with Drake captioning it: ‘I said tennis lesson she said where’s the bracelet or the necklace’.
However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to note a subtle dig from the ‘Hotling Bling’ rapper, when they headed down into the comment section.
They noticed that Drake had liked one comment from a user, which read: ‘Serena Williams upgrade [fire emojis]’.
It marks just the latest subtle dig between Drake and Williams, who have been consistently throwing shade at one another in recent years.
Perhaps the most notable incident was when tennis star Williams made a surprise cameo in Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Super Bowl performance earlier this year.
Williams showed up and started dancing while Lamar was performing his song ‘Not Like Us’ – a diss track from his beef with Canadian rapper Drake.
She wasn’t seen up close, but a tweet from the tennis icon after the game showed her in the exact same outfit as the performance.
‘Let’s go Super Bowl halftime??! I died a little!,’ the star tweeted.
The sight of Williams c-walking on a stage as big as this sent social media into hysterics.
In the midst of their Drake’s beef with Lamar, Serena delivered a jab of her own at the 2024 ESPYS, which she hosted: ‘If I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that none of us – not a single one of us, not even me – should ever pick a fight with Kendrick Lamar.’
She added: ‘He will make your hometown not like you. The next time Drake sits courtside at a Raptors game, they’re gonna Forrest Gump him, “seat’s taken”.’
Shortly after Williams’ shock appearance at the Super Bowl, Drake seemingly made a subtle dig at the 23-time Grand Slam winner on his private Instagram account.
In response, the Canadian-born rapper took a thinly veiled dig at Williams, 43, when he posted a photo of himself with her former agent, Jill Smoller.
The image was taken in 2015 when he attended Wimbledon to watch Serena compete in a match.
Drake – whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham – opted to not add a caption to the picture, but left the comment section open to allow social media users to offer their own thoughts.
Drake and Williams were first romantically linked in 2011 and four years later in 2015, the pair were spotted together on various occasions – such as kissing at a Cincinnati restaurant.
However, the two stars went their separate ways and the following year in 2016 – he dropped the track Too Good where he appeared to reference the tennis player.
The lyrics in the chorus are: ‘I’m too good to you/ I’m way too good to you/ You take my love for granted/ I just don’t understand it.’
Williams later tied the knot with Alex Ohanian in 2017 and Drake seemingly reference to her husband in his 2022 song titled Middle of the Ocean.
Charlie Woods and Kai Trump experienced drastically different days on the golf course as the pair of young stars each took major steps in their respective careers.
Last week, Trump — the granddaughter of President Donald Trump — made her LPGA Tour debut at the Annika Driven by Gainbridge after being named one of three sponsor exemptions for the event. Woods, meanwhile, competed in the Florida Class 1A State Championship at Mission Resort + Club’s El Campeon course, where his father, Tiger Woods, watched on from the gallery.
The Benjamin School junior turned in a masterful performance during the two-day tournament, carding a 4-under-par 68 on Saturday — tied for the lowest individual score of the day — en route to propelling the Bucs to a five-shot victory and their second state title in three years
Much like his dad, Woods managed to stay calm and composed in the face of immense pressure.
“Charlie came up to on 14 today and he goes, ‘Coach, how are your nerves holding up?’ I could tell he was focused,” Benjamin head coach Toby Harbeck said of Woods, who tied for fourth in the individual competition at two-under overall.
“He was locked in. I think he was locked in from the start of today, and he’s got so much talent. Dad’s here. A couple of colleges are here to watch him. It’s great.”
Unfortunately for Trump, she didn’t exactly achieve similar success as Woods. The University of Miami commit placed dead-last in her first-ever LPGA Tour event, finishing at 18-over overall while failing to make the cut at Pelican Golf Club.
Though Trump — who scored an 83 on Thursday and a 75 on Friday — didn’t get the results she would’ve liked, the 18-year-old still relished the opportunity to compete at the professional level.
“What an incredible honor and opportunity to compete in my first LPGA Tour Event at @theannikalpga,” Trump wrote in a lengthy Instagram post.
“This week was an absolute dream come true. There are so many amazing people I want to thank for making it happen and for being so supportive.
“A huge thank you to the Doyle Family, @annikas59, the entire staff at the Pelican Golf Club, Dan Towriss and his team at @gainbridgelife, and Tim Erensen and his team at @teamoutlyr.
“You all made this week so special for me,” Trump continued. “It was a lifelong dream to play in a LPGA event, and this is just the start.
“I learned so much about my game and myself out there. I was so impressed by all the LPGA players I met and got to watch as well.
“I’m going to use this experience to keep growing as a person and as a golfer. Thank you all for the support!”
