Serena Williams has done it again. And by “it,” I mean she showed up looking absolutely stunning in yet another chic outfit.

From cutouts to asymmetrical hemlines, two-piece sets and basically everything in between, the tennis legend has been completely slaying her style game lately and her latest look is no exception.

Serena, 44, recently jetted off to Spain and, while there, she was photographed congratulating winners at the “Princesa De Asturias” Awards. The WYN Beauty founder turned heads in a strapless cream dress paired with a matching jacket, both featuring intricate eyelet cutout details all over. And she didn’t stop there—she added a fun pop of color with red pointed-toe pumps proving she knows how to mix classic elegance with a playful twist.

Serena was receiving the Princess of Asturias Award for Sports, honoring her insane tennis career that included 73 singles titles, 23 doubles titles and 4 Olympic gold medals.

But the cream ensemble wasn’t the only knockout she rocked during her trip. She also stunned in a long-sleeve ruched tan dress that hit just below the knees, complete with a dramatic cape flowing over her shoulders. Dark brown heels and voluminous, loose curls finished off the look, giving that effortlessly chic vibe that seems totally doable to recreate.

Serena isn’t the only celeb serving looks worth taking notes on lately. Jenna Ortega recently hit the Academy Museum Gala in a metal breastplate paired with a gorgeous silk skirt, while Mandy Moore was all about cozy vibes in a recent social post. She wore the Zoe Crew mustard sweater from Leset and maroon skirt in the Elowette style by Dôen.

Serena moved with rhythm, grace, and a playful energy that made it clear she was enjoying every second. The rock anthem’s iconic beat set the tone as she smiled and played with her movements, swaying to the music in a way that felt both spontaneous and empowering. Serena stays in shape and shows more than just her good mood with this sensual dance.

The dress sleek, body-hugging, and elegant highlighted her athletic figure. Yet in this moment, it wasn’t about competition or trophies. It was about celebrating herself, her body, and her love of music.

Serena’s charm in an elegant dress and dance

Serena Williams showed once again that her confidence extends far beyond the tennis court. In a new video that’s gone viral, the 23-time Grand Slam champion danced to Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me” wearing a form-fitting dress that accentuated every curve.

The song choice, “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” added a nostalgic and bold touch. Once a symbol of 80s rock rebellion, it became the perfect soundtrack for Serena’s uninhibited side, a blend of passion, power, and playfulness. Serena hasn’t lost her touch and knows how to use social media to maximize it and stay in the game.

In a moment when being real matters more than ever, Serena Williams reminds everyone she’s still a force not just in tennis, but as a woman who keeps redefining what confidence and empowerment truly mean, unapologetically enjoying the process.

Serena Williams faces an unexpected mishap upon arriving at the Teatro Campoamor to receive a major award

There are moments that seem small, yet stay in your memory. Serena Williams experienced one of those as she stepped out of the car in front of the Teatro Campoamor, ready to receive the 2025 Princess of Asturias Award for Sports, a recognition that celebrates not only her tennis career but also the positive impact she has made beyond the court.

She wore a red dress paired with matching sneakers, a look that blended elegance and comfort with her personal touch. Just as she stepped out of the vehicle, her dress got slightly caught on one of her shoes. Serena adjusted it calmly, with the natural ease that has always distinguished her. There was no rush, no nerves, just confidence and style in every movement.

The Princess of Asturias Award for Sports recognizes sporting excellence and the ability to inspire beyond the field, and Serena received it the way only she can, with simplicity, confidence, and a charisma that makes every gesture meaningful. That brief adjustment of her dress became a reflection of her character, human, elegant, and unpretentious, showing that even the smallest details can speak of greatness.

Transparency and Attitude

Fixing her dress didn’t diminish her presence; it enhanced it. She greeted attendees, smiled naturally, and made it clear that she doesn’t need to pretend to shine. On social media, many celebrated Serena receiving such a well-deserved award, while others debated whether other tennis players might have earned it too. Does one value career achievements more, or the inspiration left beyond the court?

In the end, Serena Williams showed that true greatness is not measured by avoiding minor mishaps, but by facing them with confidence, elegance, and authenticity. A simple gesture of adjusting her dress became a quiet lesson, to shine is to be yourself, even in the most formal moments and under everyone’s gaze.

Serena Williams shares cryptic post about ‘learning to let go’ weeks after weight loss drug admission

Serena Williams has shared a cryptic post on social media about going through some challenging times just a few weeks after admitting to using weight loss medication to help her slim down.

Last month, the 23-time Grand Slam winner, 43, revealed that GLP-1 medication was behind her 31-pound weight loss. Three weeks later, the tennis legend told fans she’s been dealing with some “challenges” and has decided to prioritize her mental health.

Williams dropped the news in a September 16 Instagram post, saying that her summer “started out well,” but quickly “plunged into a difficult August.”

Serena Williams opens up about mental health after GLP-1 weight loss reveal

“Like many of you, I faced challenges that tested my spirit and resilience. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters—your mental health and well-being,” Williams wrote on Tuesday. “I took some time away to breathe, to reconnect with myself, and to remember that it’s perfectly okay to pause and reconnect. Even if it’s just a quiet night to yourself. Anything counts.”

The tennis legend continued, “I’ve learned that the end of a matter is better than its beginning. And even though things haven’t reached their end yet, I’m also learning to let go and live life one moment at a time.”

She isn’t letting the hard times bring her down though.

For the time being, Williams says the only thing she’s worrying about is “how good this dress looks against first editions.”

She signed off the Bridgerton-inspired message with the hashtag, “LadySerenaOf StocktonStreet.”

Williams’ candid post comes weeks after she shared the secret behind her body transformation.

She admitted that she tried everything from becoming a vegan and vegetarian to intense running and workout sessions before jumping on the GLP-1 bandwagon.

The tennis star is now a paid spokesperson for the healthcare company Ro, which sells GLP-1 weight loss treatments, including Ozempic, Wegovy, and Zepbound, per the company’s website.

Serena Williams Just Wore the Perfect LBD and It’s 100% Dance-Proof

When it comes to putting together an outfit, there’s a reason the little black dress is a forever go-to. It works for just about any occasion and it’s totally celeb-approved. Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon and Simone Biles have all put their own spin on the timeless piece. And now, Serena Williams is adding her name to the list.

The tennis icon, 44, recently teamed up with Shonda Rhimes for a fun social media trend, Serena is wearing a full-length black number (similar here for $268) with thin straps, a sweetheart neckline and a slit down the back. It’s a classic, elegant twist on the LBD and it’s giving effortlessly chic.

She styled the look with patterned pointed-toe pumps and wore her hair sleek and straight.

Now, about the Instagram trend, it gave us proof that this dress isn’t just fashionable, it’s danceable, too. The challenge usually involves one person lip-syncing while another dances in the background, with an on-screen caption offering a funny explanation. In this case? It read, “I told Serena she could be an extra in Bridgerton if she was my backup dancer.”

Serena fully committed, busting out move after move, including dropping it all the way to the floor and popping right back up.

Shonda captioned the post, “My girl @serenawilliams don’t play about @bridgertonnetflix!! This was SO fun. #stephaniemillschallenge.”

Serena has been on a fashion hot streak lately, especially when it comes to bold, monochromatic looks.

Earlier this month, on October 12, the WYN Beauty founder shared a carousel of photos wearing a stunning red dress with a fitted bodice and tailored skirt. She paired it with light pink pointed-toe heels and honestly, she nailed it.

Serena & Venus Williams Just Met with a Royal—and It’s Not Who You’d Expect

Venus and Serena Williams are back together—but not on the tennis court this time. The iconic sisters recently launched a new podcast called Stockton Street, a nod to the street in Compton, California, where the tennis legends grew up. The show dives into their careers, their bond as sister and the life lessons they’ve picked up along the way. And in the latest episode? A surprise royal guest.

Venus, 45, and Serena, 44, sat down with none other than Emma Thynn, a British socialite, fashion model and the first Black Marchioness in British history, a title she earned in 2020. The episode, titled “Being the First – with a little tea,” runs just under 35 minutes and features a candid, inspiring conversation between the trio.

“Venus and Serena visit Emma Thynn, Britain’s first Black Marchioness, at Longleat Estate,” the video’s description reads. “They discuss breaking boundaries, self-care, and passing life lessons to the next generation.”

So now we officially know what Serena was up to when she posted those stunning red dress pics just a few days prior to releasing the episode.

In a carousel posted to Instagram on October 12, the WYN Beauty founder rocked a slim-fitting red mini dress with a structured bodice and tailored skirt. She paired it with blush pink pointed-toe pumps. But let’s be real, her daughter Adira totally stole the spotlight, adorably photobombing every shot.

Williams captioned the post, “Just a mom trying to take a picture, but I keep getting photobombed,” sparking sweet comments like, “They just love being with their mommy, and you do such a great job being that great mom. We love you, Serena” and “Can’t block the serve.”

Looks like I need to set aside a half-hour to listen to the tea from the royal and tennis legends.

In one of the most viral moments of Super Bowl LIX, Serena Williams crip-walked to Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us.”

Now, her dance moves have earned her another high-profile gig. The tennis legend gets to appear on Bridgerton, according to none other than executive producer Shonda Rhimes.

Serena’s Bridgerton Audition

When you’re known as the GOAT in your sport and a global icon, landing a TV role looks different than it does for the rest of us. Williams’ “audition” was really just a fun Instagram reel that she made with Rhimes. The Grey’s Anatomy creator wanted to do the Stephanie Mills challenge, and she convinced Williams to join her in dancing to “Never Knew Love Like This Before.”

“I told Serena she could be an extra in Bridgerton if she was my backup dancer,” Rhimes wrote over the video.

As the writer lip-synced with her 2015 book, Year of Yes, as a faux microphone, Williams gave a wholehearted effort in the background. “My girl @serenawilliams don’t play about @bridgertonnetflix !!” Rhimes wrote in her caption, before adding that it was “SO fun.”

Fans applauded Williams in the comments, including longtime Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo. “She understands the assignment,” she wrote. The official Shondaland account added, “We MUST make haste…to casting!”

Friends And Fans

Both women appreciate each other’s work. While Williams is enthusiastic enough to dance for a guest spot on Rhimes’ show, Rhimes is hugely admiring of the retired tennis player. Speaking to Bustle earlier in October, she said she’s the biggest fan of the Williams sisters.

“What Venus and Serena have accomplished is amazing,” Rhimes said. “The people that they are and have continued to be, are really amazing and impressive.”

In fact, when it came time to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Year of Yes, she got Williams to host her tour event in Philadelphia on Oct. 13. That’s where they filmed their dance video, and afterward, Rhimes posted photos on Instagram and shared how much fun she had.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better night,” she wrote. “Philly, you were incredible!! Thank you for showing up with so much love and energy.”

She also added a special shoutout to Williams: “And a HUGE thank you to the legend and icon @serenawilliams for sharing this moment with me, truly making it a night to remember (Serena is so funny, y’all!). I am forever grateful.”

Bridgerton Season 4 premieres in January, so assuming it all works out, Season 5 may be the soonest we can expect to see Williams join the ton.

Serena Williams is feeling herself once again!

The former professional tennis player and Olympic gold medalist, 43, took to Instagram on Monday to share a series of stunning photos that featured her standing on a balcony in satin swimwear and a matching robe. With her long, blonde hair done in tight curls, the iconic athlete smiled brightly in the photos, which came just a few days after a more cryptic social media post that Williams posted, noting that she was focusing on her mental health.

“Dressed to the nines… and on cloud nine. In satin swimwear of course,” the beauty captioned the photos.

The athlete, who has two daughters, Alexis Olympia, 8, and Adira, 2, with husband Alexis Ohanian, made headlines last month with her announcement that she lost 31 pounds using a GLP-1 medication.

Williams partnered with the telehealth company Ro as a patient and celebrity ambassador to lose the 31 pounds after struggling with losing weight after the birth of her second child. Her husband, Ohanian, is an investor in the company. He is also the co-founder of Reddit.

Williams Had a ‘Difficult August’

Earlier this month, Williams appeared to be struggling a bit when she posted a cryptic message to social media about focusing on her mental health. While the tennis icon looked stunning in a series of photos that featured her in a red silk dress in a library, the caption was a bit more mysterious.

“Dearest gentle reader, My summer started out well but I was plunged into a difficult August. Like many of you, I faced challenges that tested my spirit and resilience. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and it’s easy to lose sight of what truly matters—your mental health and well-being. I took some time away to breathe, to reconnect with myself, and to remember that it’s perfectly okay to pause and reconnect. Even if it’s just a quiet night to yourself. Anything counts,” she wrote in the caption.

She went on to say that she “learned that the end of a matter is better than its beginning. And even though things haven’t reached their end yet, I’m also learning to let go and live life one moment at a time. The only thing I’m dealing with in this moment here is how good this dress looks against first editions.”

Tennis champion Serena Williams has not been shy about her weight loss journey and how she is doing it.

The athlete and mom, 43, revealed early into her venture that she was unapologetically taking Ozempic, a GLP-1 drug that gained popularity for its pound-shedding side effects.

In a new Instagram post, Williams is showing off her stunning weight loss in a gorgeous figure-fitting red dress.

“Just a mom trying to take a picture but I keep getting photobombed,” she joked of her images that also featured her daughter in the background. Williams has dropped over 31 pounds, and fans have certainly begun to notice.

“So beautiful, powerful, an example of a strong and beautiful woman inside,” said one fan.

“You look so healthy and happy, beautiful lady,” complimented another.

Why Serena Williams Went on Ozempic

In an exclusive with People, Williams gave a candid answer as to why she, as an athlete, needed the assistance of the GLP-1 to reach her weight goals postpartum.

“I never was able to get to the weight I needed to be no matter what I did, no matter how much I trained,” she admitted. “It was crazy because I’d never been in a place like that in my life where I worked so hard, ate so healthy, and could never get down to where I needed to be.”

“I had never taken shortcuts in my career and always worked really hard. I know what it takes to be the best,” she continued. “So it was very frustrating to do all the same things and never be able to change that number on the scale or the way my body looked.”

The mom is cognizant of how controversial her decision to go on the medication is. However, she did research for herself and consulted with a doctor to affirm she was doing what was best for her body and its specific needs. She’s also hyper-aware that she needs to be vigilant about body image issues when it comes to her two girls.

With me going through what I’ve went through growing up in public and just having millions of people commenting on my body, it’s really important to teach them to be confident at any size, just like I try to be,” she told People. “I was looking back at pictures, whether I was smaller or thicker, and at that moment I felt so confident. And I looked great, too. So I just think it’s so important to love who you are. You’ll never get that moment back. You don’t want to judge yourself when you’re just always showing up as your best.”

Rick Macci says Coco Gauff is the mentally strongest player since Serena Williams

Rick Macci, the legendary coach credited with assisting the Williams sisters during the early stages of their tennis careers, has discussed Gauff’s mental strength on social media.

The American, who has also coached Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick, took to social media to express his opinion.

On X [Twitter], Macci said: “Coco is the mentally strongest player we have seen since Serena.

“To deal with the doubles [double faults] and at times a shaky forehand, she just keeps locked in and knows how to win.

“Number one is down the street because she now has the serve, and the Delray Dart will be even tougher to beat.”

Macci also recently claimed that Gauff has saved her career after making some key technical changes to her serve.

Coco Gauff has 1,500 points to defend for the rest of the season

Coco Gauff has to defend points at only one more tournament in 2025.

Gauff will defend 1,500 points when she competes at the 2025 WTA Finals in November, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This is because Gauff won the WTA Finals in 2024.

In last year’s final, Gauff defeated third seed Qinwen Zheng 3-6, 6-4, 7-6.
