Model and TV personality Brooks Nader refused to dwell on a rumoured ‘love triangle’ involving her, Carlos Alcaraz, and Jannik Sinner when quizzed about the situation on US television.

World No 1 Alcaraz and No 2 Sinner have dominated the men’s game in recent months, and their third straight meeting in a Grand Slam final saw the Spaniard claim his second US Open title and sixth Grand Slam title earlier this month.

However, in the days after the final between the world’s two best players, reports emerged that Sports Illustrated model Nader, 28, had been dating both Sinner and Alcaraz during the US Open.

Nader had initially been linked to 24-year-old Sinner during the tournament, though further rumours during the tournament connected the four-time Grand Slam champion to model Laila Hasanovic.

But, Nader’s older sister, Grace Ann, later claimed to E! News that Brooks was dating 22-year-old Alcaraz, describing him as the “man of the hour.”

This was later debunked by Spanish journalist Alberto Guzman, during an appearance on TV show No Somos Nadie.

“They [Nader and Alcaraz] are not a couple, it is not an official relationship,” said Guzman.

“He confirmed to his entourage that he is single and that he has no intention of having a serious relationship.

“Perhaps she [Grace Ann] is not well informed.”

Now, Brooks has been asked directly about reports of a rumoured ‘love triangle’ involving her and the two multiple-time Grand Slam winners during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Asked directly by Cohen about reports connecting her to both Alcaraz and Sinner, the model did not address the rumours head on — but also offered little denial regarding either player.

She said: “I would just say, a lady never kisses and tells — especially twice, that’s just not nice.

“Dating is such a loose term these days. It’s just… I don’t know.

“By the way, my only thing is, guys do it all the time, so why can’t I do it?”

All eyes will be on whether and when either Alcaraz or Sinner responds to the rumours, with the former likely to be asked first about any connection to Nader.

Less than two weeks after his triumph in New York, the world No 1 will return to action at the Laver Cup in San Francisco, with the Spaniard likely to play a leading role for Team Europe in the competition.

He will then head to Tokyo to make his debut appearance at the Japan Tennis Open the following week, while Sinner will return to action at the China Open in Beijing.

Both men are then set to compete at the Shanghai Masters, where they will be in line to meet in the final.

Roger Federer has floated the enticing prospect of a revival of his iconic rivalry with Rafael Nadal, in comments that will excite millions of tennis fans around the world.

While Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner’s exciting new rivalry has filled much of the void left behind following the retirements of Federer and Nadal, many tennis fans will always regard the battles between the Swiss maestro and his Spanish rival to be the best in tennis history.

So the prospect of seeing the duo back on court in the near future will set pulses racing and Federer has revealed in an interview with CNBC that he would be open to the prospect of returning to tennis for a seniors tour that could also feature Nadal.

When asked whether he would be open to leading a new tour that could feature the icons of tennis, Federer was quick to offer a positive response.

“Yeah, why not?” he said. “I love Rafa. I played four hours of tennis here in San Francisco and also an hour and a half in LA. I am playing a lot, I’m trying to keep in good shape.

“I know Rafa is open to playing some more tennis. It sounds terrible… seniors tennis. Maybe we can create a tour. A ‘Fedal’ Tour.

“One of the reasons I started the Laver Cup was to shine a light on the past greats of the game and maybe a seniors tour, we’ve had it in the past.

“There is a lot of appetite to see past champions in tennis, so I could look into that, for sure.”

Federer spoke about life after tennis earlier this year, as he admitted he needed some time to adjust to his new life after he hung up his rackets following a doubles match alongside Nadal at the 2022 Laver Cup in London.

“I didn’t have any plans per se as I was always trying to come back and then all of a sudden I realised that was it,” Federer told the ATP.

“And then I was just ‘okay, it is over, what now?’ I think now I feel I am more in control of my schedule as before I was just… the afterburn of having just retired, so it has been good, honestly.

“I have to be careful I don’t do too many things, but at the same time I’m really happy to be busy, I like being with other people, love being with my family, I love to travel. But I guess sometimes you just have to make sure to find the right balance and I feel like I have that, so it’s great.”

“I am trying to go to the gym four times a week and I can’t believe I am actually doing that. I rent the space at home and put the machines in and I got it the week after the Laver Cup in London, so it was like, after my career I finally had a gym.

“A little bit weird once I had retired, so now I have to use it, so I do that well, and I don’t play so much tennis anymore so I have to be a little bit more careful with what I eat and stuff.

“I would still like to play some exhibitions down the road so I want to stay in shape and try to look good a little bit.”

Federer and Nadal may have hit their final balls in anger as professional players, but we might not have seen the last of their great rivalry after all.

Novak Djokovic future remains unclear after Serb’s family move countries

Novak Djokovic’s future remains up in the air after his recent semi-final defeat in Flushing Meadows. Aged 38, Djokovic reached the semis of all four Majors this year, but couldn’t make it any further. He lost to Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets and then waved goodbye to the US Open crowd, making a heart with his hands.

Now, his schedule for the rest of the 2025 season is unclear. Djokovic recently moved from his home of Belgrade, Serbia, to Athens, Greece, with his family, and he seems keen to stay put before getting back on the tennis tour.

The world No. 4 is on the entry list for the upcoming Masters 1000 in Shanghai, which kicks off at the beginning of October. Djokovic finished runner-up in Shanghai last year, losing to Jannik Sinner, and he’s a four-time former champion at the tournament.

However, there has been strong speculation that he will skip the Shanghai Masters after the tournament shared a promotional graphic to social media featuring dozens of players, with Djokovic noticeably absent.

While his name remains on the entry list for now, fans believe the 38-year-old will likely withdraw from the event closer to the time.

After bowing out of the US Open, Djokovic himself made it clear that he didn’t know what he’d be doing with his schedule for the rest of the year. He only has one tournament on his list – the ATP 250 in Athens.

Asked when and where he was planning to play between now and the 2026 Australian Open, he replied: “That’s far. Australia is far. At least at this stage of my career, I mean, I’m not thinking that far, to be honest. I don’t know.

“I’m planning to play Athens tournament, that’s for sure, but other than that, it’s really still a question mark where I’m going to go and what I’m going to do.”

Djokovic and his family recently moved to Athens, and he was even spotted watching Greece’s Davis Cup tie against Brazil with his son, Stefan, over the weekend.

The world No. 4 doesn’t usually play ATP 250 events – the lowest tournament tier on the ATP circuit – but his brother is in charge of the Belgrade Open, which this year is relocating to Athens, so he has committed to playing.

Over the last few years, Djokovic has repeatedly expressed that Grand Slam tournaments and opportunities to represent his country remain his priority, instead of chasing other ATP titles, including Masters 1000s.

He could still play the Paris Masters, which takes place the week before the Athens event, and he looks primed to qualify for the ATP Finals, which is played the week after the ATP 250 in Greece.

But Djokovic ended his season early last year, after his run to the Shanghai Masters final, and skipped both tournaments, even though he was the defending champion. So it wouldn’t be a surprise if he misses the Paris Masters or the season-ending championships in Turin again.

Before withdrawing from those competitions in 2024, he said: “I am not chasing ATP Finals, I am not chasing the rankings. As far as I’m concerned, I am done with those tournaments for my career. Whether I will play others this year or in the future, I can’t say right now.

“My main priorities are playing for the national team and Slams. Everything else is less important. I said a million times how much it means to play for the national team.”

At the end of the US Open, Novak Djokovic was asked to provide some details about his plans for the latter part of the season.

However, the Serbian legend has limited himself to saying that he only plans to participate in the Athens ATP 250 in November and that his main goal remains the Grand Slam tournaments.

The former world number 1 has just moved to Greece due to the disagreements he had with the Serbian government and it is for this reason that he has decided to move ‘his’ tournament from Belgrade to Athens, as well as having enrolled his children in a school located in the Greek capital.

What’s next for Nole?

The 24-time Grand Slam champion currently occupies third position in the ATP Race despite his very tight schedule and has a 1190-point lead over young English talent Jack Draper, who is in ninth place and out until the end of 2025 due to a serious injury.

This means that Nole could qualify for the 2025 Nitto ATP Finals even if he were to play only one tournament between now and mid-November. The 38-year-old from Belgrade is expected to miss the Shanghai Masters 1000, a tournament he participated in last year by reaching the final and losing to Jannik Sinner in straight sets.

There is a few more chances that Novak could be present at the Paris-Bercy tournament in this edition, given that the last Masters 1000 of the season will change venue starting from 2025 and it could be intriguing for Djokovic to inaugurate the new version of the tournament.

Fans are especially wondering whether or not the Serbian veteran intends to participate in the ATP Finals in Turin, where he had triumphed in 2022 and 2023 by skipping the 2024 edition. The former world No.1 admitted that he has more chances against Italian Jannik Sinner and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in best-of-three-set matches, but the feeling is that he wants to spend more time with his family and is focused only on the Majors tournaments.

Nick Kyrgios Speaks Out on Emma Raducanu Following ‘Unprofessional’ Remark at Cincinnati Open

Nick Kyrgios has explained why his heart goes out to Emma Raducanu amid a bizarre incident at the Cincinnati Open.

Raducanu and Aryna Sabalenka were involved in a gruelling third round clash at the Cincinnati Open on Monday.

But the Brit succumbed to the world No.1, who edged out 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 7-6 (7-5) in a gruelling contest that lasted three hours and nine minutes.

The match between Raducanu and Sabalenka will also be remembered for a frosty exchange involving the umpire.

Before serving a vital point in the third set, Raducanu was held up by a crying child in the stands.

“It’s been like 10 minutes,” she exclaimed.

The umpire replied: “It’s a child. Do you want me to kick the child out of the stadium?”

Raducanu shrugged before some fans shouted ‘yes’ on her behalf.

Naturally, the incident between Raducanu and the match official got tennis fans online talking.

People on social media sided with the 22-year-old, calling out the umpire’s ‘professionalism’.

And, judging by his previous comments, Kyrgios would also likely back Raducanu.

In a post on X responding to former professionals criticising Raducanu earlier this year, he wrote: “What’s with old retired players giving their opinion on our stars now?

“I love A-rod [Andy Roddick] and I agree we all need to chill with the rackets and all that, but geezus, I read an article about a past female player talking about Raducanu, no offence but she is a far far bigger name already.”

Kyrgios also explained why his heart goes out to her.

“My heart does go out to her,” he said on talkSPORT last June.

“I look at that run, I was watching it on TV, she was smiling and enjoying her tennis so much and that whole two weeks for her was an incredible journey and she then won the US Open.

“But since then, I’ve seen her kind of enjoy her tennis, but I’ve never really seen her smile and really enjoy it as she did when she won the tournament.

“Whether or not that it’s external pressure, I don’t know what’s going on, but at the end of the day, we play sport because we love it and we go out there because we want to compete and entertain people.

“I hope that she figures out what’s wrong and what’s going on there, I hope she finds the answers, but I completely understand.

Serena Williams’ mirror selfies ignite heated fan debate

Tennis legend’s latest Instagram photos divide followers over beauty standards and representation

Serena Williams thought she was just sharing some cute mirror selfies. Instead, she accidentally started a cultural firestorm.

The tennis icon’s recent Instagram post from Manhattan’s Fouquet’s New York hotel seemed innocent enough—a few snapshots of her rocking a sleek grey ensemble with vibrant red-orange heels. But within hours, her comment section became a battlefield over beauty standards, identity and what it means to represent Black excellence in America.

When Compliments Turn Into Criticism

Williams looked confident and radiant in her monochromatic outfit, complete with a flowing maxi skirt and crop top that showed off her athletic build. Her signature blonde ombre hair caught the hotel’s ambient lighting perfectly. Yet many fans weren’t celebrating—they were worried.

The concerns weren’t about the outfit or the setting. They were about Williams herself. Followers expressed sadness over what they saw as changes to her appearance, suggesting she was moving away from the powerful representation of Black beauty she’d embodied for decades. Some even accused her of setting a poor example for young Black girls.

It’s the kind of scrutiny that most celebrities never face, but Williams has been carrying this burden her entire career.

The Weight of Williams’ Transformation

Since welcoming daughter Adira River in August 2023, Williams has embraced a serious fitness routine. Her 17 million Instagram followers regularly see glimpses of her gym sessions and wellness journey. What should be celebrated as a new mom prioritizing her health has instead become fuel for debate.

Fans noticed changes to her famously powerful physique—particularly the curves and muscular build that made her an icon of strength. Some worried she was conforming to conventional beauty standards rather than staying true to the body that revolutionized tennis.

The speculation goes deeper than fitness. Persistent rumors about skin lightening have followed Williams for years, despite her repeated denials. During promotional appearances for her Wyn Beauty brand, she’s consistently attributed any perceived changes to lighting and makeup, emphasizing her pride in her natural complexion.

The Impossible Standard of Representation

Here’s what makes Williams‘ situation uniquely challenging: she’s not just a retired athlete posting selfies. She’s become an unwitting symbol of Black female empowerment, and every public appearance feels like a referendum on her authenticity.

When Williams changes her hair, her workout routine, or even her Instagram filter, millions of people interpret it as a statement about race, beauty and cultural values. It’s an exhausting responsibility that few public figures must navigate.

Williams has pushed back against this policing with characteristic directness. She’s used her platform to promote self-acceptance while refusing to let critics dictate her choices. Her public statements about embracing her Black identity serve as both personal affirmation and broader education about colorism.

Beyond the Selfie Controversy

This latest dust-up reveals something uncomfortable about how society treats successful Black women. Williams spent decades shattering barriers in tennis while facing criticism about everything from her clothing to her celebrations. Now, even in retirement, her personal choices spark heated cultural debates.

The intensity of fan reactions shows just how much weight Williams carries as a representative figure. Her mirror selfies weren’t just photos—they were perceived as shifts in the visual representation of Black excellence that millions have come to expect.

But Williams has never been one to shrink from controversy. Throughout her career, she’s turned criticism into opportunity, using each challenge to educate and inspire. Her willingness to address rumors head-on while maintaining her right to personal evolution offers a masterclass in authentic leadership.

The conversation sparked by these selfies ultimately serves a purpose: it forces everyone to examine their expectations of Black women in the spotlight and challenges the notion that public figures must remain frozen in time to satisfy others’ comfort.

Williams continues living her truth, one Instagram post at a time. And that, perhaps, is the most powerful message of all.

Emma Raducanu: I Can Proud of Myself despite defeat to Aryna Sabalenka as world No 1 edges three-hour epic clash at Cincinnati Open

Emma Raducanu spoke of her pride at running world No 1 Aryna Sabalenka so close in their thrilling third-round clash at the Cincinnati Open.

The 22-year-old was edged out 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 7-6 (7-5) in an epic contest lasting three hours and nine minutes, a month on from also giving Sabalenka a scare at Wimbledon.

Sabalenka was victorious in straight sets on that occasion, 7-6 (8-6) 6-4, though the scoreline doesn’t tell the whole story of that third-round meeting

“She’s world No 1 for a reason,” Raducanu said following her three-set defeat in their latest meeting.

“I pushed her more than I did at Wimbledon, so that’s that’s an improvement.

“Also, it was good to have this result on a hard court because it’s very different to grass, and I’ve always thought grass suits me a lot more – and I still believe that.

“So to have pushed her on a hard court like that, I’m pretty proud.”

Raducanu had her moments in the match. She won the first eight points of the contest to race into a 2-0 lead, while she did well to force Sabalenka into a first-set tiebreaker after losing the subsequent four games in a row.

Raducanu was terrific on serve in the second set, missing with only five of her 28 first serves, earning the crucial break in the seventh game and later converting her first set point with a second-serve ace.

As for the decider, Raducanu spurned a break point chance in the third game, before saving four on her own serve in the eighth, an incredible 23-minute long battle that the British No 1 would go on to claim.

But the match would ultimately go Sabalenka’s way. “I think starting the point is a big takeaway,” Raducanu added afterwards.

“I think she did that incredibly well; in the big moments, she served and returned really well.

“I did too, in certain moments of the match, but to kind of hold that level on the starting point for the the whole match, I think that’s a big thing for me.”

Challenging Sign: Raducanu ‘getting back to best’ but edged out by Sabalenka

Britain’s Emma Raducanu fell agonisingly short of beating world number one Aryna Sabalenka and earning a statement win at the Cincinnati Open.

Raducanu, 22, lost 7-6 (7-3) 4-6 7-6 (7-5) as defending champion Sabalenka edged a battle lasting more than three hours to reach the fourth round.

Having also pushed Sabalenka at Wimbledon, Raducanu’s performance was further evidence she can severely test the world’s best as her revival continues.

This season, with the British number one’s fitness issues largely behind her and the development of greater resilience, she has climbed back into the top 40.

“As I said at Wimbledon I am really happy to see her healthy – mentally and physically,” said Sabalenka.

“Every time she is improving and I can see she is getting back to her best.

“I’m enjoying fighting against her – she is such an incredible player.”

Raducanu could be seeded among the leading 32 players at the upcoming US Open, providing a more favourable draw – in theory at least – at the hard-court Grand Slam which she won as a teenage qualifier in 2021.

On the basis of this display against Sabalenka, there are plenty of positives for Raducanu to take into the final major of the season.

Signs that Raducanu can challenge the best

With her service game providing a strong foundation, backed by calmness and clarity from the baseline, a tense contest in a sweltering Cincinnati could easily have gone her way.

Sabalenka was well below her best level throughout, with the powerful baseline game which has delivered three major titles looking vulnerable and erratic.

Raducanu, who was guided vocally throughout by her new coach Francisco Roig, took full advantage.

Roig was part of the team which helped Rafael Nadal win the bulk of his 22 major titles, and his forensic attention to detail was clear throughout the match.

Regular instructions came about the pattern of Raducanu’s serve and the shape of her forehand, while she also responded well when he implemented some positive reinforcement.

“You’re better than her,” was one of the 57-year-old Spaniard’s messages to the player.

In the past Raducanu has wilted in similarly intense battles and equally draining conditions.

‘He’s More Scared of Us’ – Coco Gauff Details Alligator Encounter During Bold Florida Trip With Boyfriend Jalen Sera

Coco Gauff recently gave fans a peek into her adventurous side, recalling a close encounter with an alligator during a serene canoe ride in Florida. Following her Wimbledon heartbreak, the 21-year-old enjoyed a nature-filled trip with her boyfriend, Jalen Sera.

The break came after a tough early exit at Wimbledon, where Gauff suffered a first-round loss to Ukraine’s Dayana Yastremska. With her grass-court season cut short, the World No. 2 opted to recharge before the North American hard-court swing.

Her time off included a star-studded date night with boyfriend at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour in Atlanta and a quiet escape to Central Florida’s springs. The latter, however, brought an unexpected thrill in the form of an alligator sighting during a canoe ride.

The trip allowed her to unwind before key tournaments in Montreal, Cincinnati, and the US Open. Speaking to Tennis Channel’s Prakash Amritraj after her second-round win over Wang Xinyu at the ongoing Cincinnati Open, Gauff shared highlights from her time away. “It was great. I was home, so I was able to get my life organized from being in Europe basically two months. So, I just felt organized,” she said.

“But then, I got to go see Beyoncé, which was really cool. Got to meet Miss Tina, her mom, which was awesome. And we were up there watching, I was in the same area as Tyler Perry and Summer Walker. So, that was also really cool for me.”

Her Florida getaway turned into an unforgettable experience. “We went kayaking. I was out there with the gators. I was swimming in the springs and it was great. I saw a gator like while we were in the kayak,” Gauff recalled.

When asked if she was afraid, she explained, “No. I trusted our guide, and he was like, ‘If you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you.’ And we were swimming in the same direction, and then the gator kind of saw that, and then he turned around and went the other way. I think he’s more scared of us. But I was on the kayak, so I felt okay.”

She added: “Now, if I was swimming, which I did, but it was in a different spring where gators are less common, it was cool. It was good to reconnect with nature and yeah, I would do it again.”

Gauff advanced to the third round in Cincinnati, where she will take on 32nd seed Yastremska in a rematch of their Wimbledon clash. The winner of this match will face either Lucia Bronzetti or 23rd seed Jeļena Ostapenko in the Round of 16.

Coco Gauff still alive in Montreal despite singles loss

Coco Gauff is on the rebound. Despite losing to 18-year-old Victoria Mboko in the Canadian Open singles tournament, she will remain in Montreal.

Gauff has qualified for her first Canadian Open doubles final, per George Patten of The Tennis Gazette.

She, along with doubles partner McCartney Kessler, will face the pair of Taylor Townsend and Zhang Shuai. Townsend and Shaui came out on top during the Washington Open.

Gauff and Kessler scraped by in a tie-breaking (6-4, 3-6, 10-7) semifinal win over Barbora Krejcikova and Jelena Ostapenko.

This will mark the first time Gauff has appeared in a WTA doubles final since 2024. That year, she and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in the French Open.

The Canadian Open has been the opportunity for Gauff to move past her upset at Wimbledon.

She’s also aiming her sights on the US Open, which is scheduled from August 24-September 7 in New York. The biggest highlight for Gauff was winning the French Open singles title.

Oftentimes, Gauff is seen through the lens of what she can do as an individual. But her doubles pedigree is just as impressive.

The doubles career of Coco Gauff

Altogether, Gauff has won 9 WTA doubles titles. She reached the finals of the 2021 U.S. Open and 2022 French Open.

In 2021, Gauff partnered with Venus Williams for the French Open. They lost in the first round to Ellen Perez and Zheng Saisai.

Both times she was partnered with Caty McNally. In terms of growing her game, Over time, Gauff has emphasized the importance of excelling in both singles and doubles.

It turns out, Gauff’s ability to excel in both registers dates back to her junior years. In 2018, Gauff was the Junior World No.1 player.

That year, she won the French Open girl’s singles title. Then, she won the U.S. Open girl’s doubles title.
